REBEL PRO WESTERN BOOT

A brown square toe western boot built in seven layers, which sounds like marketing until you take them one at a time. The second is an EVA cushion layer that contours and molds to the foot. The third is three quarter genuine Goodyear welt construction with a genuine leather welt and a double row cotton stitch.

The fourth layer is a two-layer innersole, flexible along the full length and rigid at the heel tuck where stability matters. The fifth is the patented Dually Shank System, two fiberglass shanks working together for medial and lateral torsion stability and midfoot support, with a littleway stitch binding the outsole, the heel tuck and the upper into one piece. The sixth is an ABS heel base, nailed and weight-relieved so the durability does not arrive as bulk. The seventh is the outsole itself, a rubber that resists slips, oil and abrasion. The heel is a 1 1/2" rocker, shaped to promote a more natural heel strike and lessen stress on the way through a step, and the shank area is rolled for stirrup-friendly ease.

The classic square toe up front keeps all of that engineering behind a shape nobody has to think about. This is the boot for someone who is on their feet or in a saddle for real hours rather than for the look of it. Wear it with the jean over the shaft and let the leather welt tell you, in about two years, that it is time for a resole rather than a replacement.
