RAMBLER WESTERN BOOT
Unlined leather, a broken-in look and feel from the first day, and a square toe. This one is as at home on the farm as it is in Vegas, which is a claim most boots would struggle to make honestly.
Because the leather is unlined there is nothing between the foot and the upper, so the boot molds rather than resists. The shaft stands 11", the heel is a country heel at 1.625", and the toe is square. ATS technology supplies lightweight support that helps the foot adapt to uneven surfaces, which is where a flat sole normally gives up. The Duratread sole is exclusive, flexible as well as durable, and engineered for long-lasting performance. The comfort is closer to a sneaker than to a traditional boot, and the outsole is flexible enough to back that up.
So this is the western boot for someone who wants to forget they are wearing boots. It looks like a favourite pair already, which shortens the awkward first fortnight to nothing. Straight leg over the shaft, or tucked if you are the sort — this one carries both.
