12" WESTERN WORK BOOT

A 12" waterproof western work boot with a square toe, handcrafted from full-grain leather on a traditional western profile. It was built for all day comfort, which on a boot this tall means the inside has to work as hard as the outside.

The footbed is Blend85, made with recycled foam. Under it sits a compression-formed EVA midsole made with sugar cane molasses, and a nylon and glass fiber shank runs through the middle for support — stability and durability being the two things a work boot cannot do without. The outsole is electrical hazard rated and resists oil and slips, which adds durability and improves traction on whatever the day turns out to involve.

Twelve inches of shaft is a commitment, and it is the right one when the ground is wet or the work involves things you would rather not have going into your boot. The western profile keeps it from looking industrial, so it carries off a jean worn over the top. Give the shaft a few days to soften before a long shift.
