9-Inch Chestnut Tumbled Leather Packer Boot

A chestnut packer with a 9" shaft, made from full-grain tumble leather — durable and handsome in the same breath, which is the packer's whole pitch.

Goodyear welt construction is what makes it stand up to the rigors of daily wear, and it is what makes the boot repairable when the outsole finally goes. The insole is a removable orthotic in polyurethane, cushioned for all-day comfort and easy to take out. The toe is a plain soft toe, which keeps the boot suitable for any occasion rather than restricting it to a jobsite. The outsole is rubber and gives excellent traction on any surface. The heel stands 1.75".

A 9-inch shaft is tall enough to support the ankle and short enough to wear under straight-leg jeans. Working on the ranch or heading out for a night in town, it does not need to be swapped. Chestnut is the colour that flatters the leather as it darkens, and it will darken. Feed it twice a year.
