12" WESTERN WORK BOOT - CLAY & PEACOCK (COMPOSITE TOE)

A 12" western work boot in clay and peacock, cut on a traditional western profile and built around an alloy safety toe. It is waterproof, it pulls on, and it is rated ASTM F2413-18 M/I/C EH, which is the short way of saying it belongs on a jobsite.

The vamp is duraTWX, a full-grain leather carrying a rubberized protective coating, and the 12" shaft is leatherTWX, a material made with 80% recycled leather that would otherwise have gone to landfill. Inside, CellStretch technology puts cells in the forefoot and heel for cushioning, a compression-molded EVA midsole sits under that, and a nylon and glass fiber shank supports the middle. The lining is waterproof, the footbed is Blend85 with 85% recycled foam and an ecoTWEED lining, and the pull holes are reinforced. Toe shape square, heel block, outsole rubber, with an outsole worked up to hit the higher slip ratings the work industry asks for.

Clay and peacock is a strange pair on paper and a good one on the foot, the second colour reading dark until the light finds it. Pull them on, wear them through a wet week, and let the coating do what it is there for.
