The Austin Aged adds a splash of colour and comfort to everyday wear — a modest brief for a boot built this traditionally.

The shaft stands 11" tall over a broad square toe and a block heel. The upper is premium full grain leather, the lining is leather, and the outsole is leather too — construction is a full welt with a double row stitch and the shank is non-metallic. Inside sits the J-Flex Flexible Comfort System, a covered cushioned insole over a triple density insole board. It is proudly made in the USA with global parts, crafted by hand in El Paso, Texas.

A full welt runs the whole way around the boot rather than stopping at the waist, which makes for a sturdier, more repairable build. With the leather outsole, this is a boot to keep. The aged finish helps — nothing here needs protecting from being used.
