11" NITREAD - WATERPROOF (COMPOSITE TOE) - GREEN

A green pull-on work boot with a nano composite safety toe, built for the kind of shift that does not let up. It meets the ASTM F2413 safety footwear ratings and carries an EH rating for electrical hazard, so what it protects against is stated rather than implied.

The upper is premium full-grain leather, the lining is woven, and the toe shape is square. Waterproof construction keeps water out in any condition the day produces, and the outsole is an oil- and slip-resisting rubber that stays honest on slick ground. Underfoot there is an Ortholite insole, and the construction is cement.

Pulling on is the point: nothing to tie in the dark, nothing to snag on a rung. Wear it where a work boot earns its keep, and let the shaft take the abuse your jeans would otherwise absorb. Green is an unusual colour in this category, and it reads quieter in person than it does on a screen.
